Display for an international project that used sensors suspended in Antarctic ice to gather data from gamma rays from space. One "cube" would consist of 30+ "dom" sensors (14" diameter spheres) in a cube shape, deep within the ice.
This display shows a dom with photos of the adventure to the deep cold continent, items from the project (cables, drill bits, controls, etc) and awards from various institutions would be on the plexi blue shelves. the shelves would be lit with LEDs and a spotlight would shine down on the "dom" that is suspended from the ceiling and anchored to the floor. The shelves below would be used for various storage.
And Vader did help. A bit... He is making me say that.
This view shows the "dom" encapsulated in a plexi tube similar to how it would be suspended in real world applications. Shelving would display items from th eproject and awards, the shelves below would be storrage.
Another view of the display. Yes, Darth Vader likes to lurk.
This view places the "dom" on the right with a company branded color box in the corner. The squares on the wall would have plexi frames stand out from the wall with two layered images to give a 3-D look. Shelving above would hold items from the project and keepsakes.
This one shows the "dom" suspended without a cylinder tube to show the interior of the sensor's details.
